I don't mind substitutes. It's deprivation I loathe. Doing without the things I love, like macaroni and cheese, leaves a void in me that needs filling, preferably with something cheesy.
My friend tells me I would adore him, yet not one thing she has told me about him appeals to me.
"Why is it that God sometimes seems to beat around the bush in answering my prayers?" I wasn't the one bold enough to ask the question aloud, but I can't deny that I've wondered it. A lot.
Sit down. It usually means you can expect something is about to happen. Something is going to change. No more status quo. Will it be good or bad? Do I even have an option as to whether or not I sit down? Can I just run for my life now?
